“Dawn has broken. As we see the road sign which shows the distance to Munich, we breathe a sigh of relief. My wounds still hurt. As we arrive, the journey is still going on for others, who hope they are going towards happiness.
They will see snakes and scorpions in the bushes, just as they will learn how to go into a river and not be afraid.
My heart is happy, so happy that I do not feel my body. But I am crying: why, I do not know. Maybe for the start of the season of loneliness which will hit me later, but today I am oblivious of this future.”
